Since May 2024, we have been generating eco-friendly electricity using our own solar power system on the company roof. In our very first year of operation, we produced over 108 MWh—about 40% of which we use directly on-site, thereby covering a large portion of our daily energy needs ourselves.
We feed any excess energy into the public grid. Our machines are state-of-the-art, allowing us to operate in a way that conserves energy and resources.
We have our own electric charging stations on our company premises for company vehicles.
Our fleet is largely electric—we are committed to locally emission-free mobility.
We also actively promote eco-friendly mobility in our daily operations, for example by providing bicycle parking spaces.
We consciously avoid single-use plastics and provide water dispensers for employees and guests.
Our packaging solutions are designed with sustainability in mind—from production to delivery.
We develop our products and processes to ensure that resources are used efficiently from the very beginning.
In addition, we operate entirely digitally: a modern document management system replaces printed documents.
We support local fundraising campaigns and charitable projects in our community.
Supporting the next generation is a particular priority for us—for example, through our partnership with the local university of applied sciences and through our own training programs.
All of our electronics are manufactured entirely in Gummersbach—from development and prototyping through to mass production.
We work closely with regional suppliers and are committed to fair, transparent supply chains.
Short supply chains mean lower emissions and reliable production under controlled conditions.
